About Me

Well, about me.... I was resided in London W11, which is Portobello Road to some, it is “Notting Hill”, to others it was the “front line”. A rich fusion of diver’s cultures and classes, even dough it was classed as a classless society. It was rich and diverse in music with a beat, night life with a pulse, fashion with a flier and statement and a fusion of different kinds of food flavors and tastes. This part of London is best known for the Notting Hill Carnival with a tern out 75-85 thousand people per year, and all the fresh musical talents that displayed their stuff at these events, I was privileged to be part of such occasions, meeting new and up coming stars and sounds. My very first teen years where devoted to building speakers for “Shaka” sound and being part off, Shaka sound was always battling the “Jah Lion” sound, we had a huge wall of Shaka speakers on one side of the street and Jah Lion had a similar wall of sound on the other side of the street, that’s when we would battle against each other as to, who had better sound, better music and play better Dub, Lovers or Raga records, while people who where part of had to express our stilee of toasting(Jamaican rap) and movement in reggae dancing, all of this richly weaved tapestry right on my doorstep. My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People that make me feel, think, ponder, understand, admire, love, lust, laugh and inspire...

Music:

I really love music. Music is way too cool. It can, in my opinion, transcend verbal communication. Here is what I mean. Someone can very insightfully and eloquently articulate their thoughts and speak or write them to someone who just so happens to speak another language, and the recipient will stand there blank faced, not understanding a word. But a talented musician could write a song that well articulates how he may have felt at the time, and anybody who listens to it, will know exactly how he felt. Likewise a song composed very well can actually change the listener’s state of mind...yeah I love music...

Movies:

Monty Pythons "THE MEANING OF LIFE" (I made the "The Crimson Financial building" for this film and some more staff for "BRAZIL" that got blown up) :o( “Flubber” (for this film I was given the script and asked if I could invent/create a character + fabricate a prototype with functional parts and finish = all done in a very long week, oh, and I got to meet Robin Williams. :o) Made some props for the “Minority Report” but sadly the scene got cut :o( The Party (all time favorit) The Name Of The Rose, Gladiator, Hero, Indian, Water, American Beauty, Lord of The Rings, Cuban Blod, Hostel, The War Within, Layer Cake, King Kong, Crash, Football Factory, North Country, The White Dragon, 3 Extremes, Rain, Wedding Crashers, Paradise Now, Notting Hill(That's my manor),Something about Mary, Whale Rider, The Green Mile, Seven, Blade Runner, Little miss Sunshine, Brave Heart, Fire in the sky, Abyss, Angel Heart, (my old time favorite) "TO CATCH A THIEF", Four Weddings and a Funeral, Fist full of dollars, The Good The Bad and The Ugly, Matrix, The Last of the Mohicans, Napoleon Dynamite, The Motorcycle Diaries, Mad Max,

Television:

Don't watch TV

Books:

The Age of Spiritual Machines, What kind of House Party is this?, Lovemarks the future beyond brands, The Art of Innovation,

Heroes:

I would just say that my heroes are the genuine good people of this world. Parents who love and are involved in their children’s lives. Teachers who love to teach. People who help others because they want too, because they care, not because they have too. Unselfish, hard working, open minded giving people. On some days I am one of those people.
