I'm a freelance artist in digital, promotional design covering different sectors of marketing, research, and evoking ideas to fit clients aims. I enjoy working in many areas, though particularly with bands/musicians. I offer consultation and work closely with people in order to create a final design structured from their own ideas. I see myself simply as an aid towards achieving an end product that is custom made to best represent each individual/band/company. Many people have ideas already of what they would like from a design that is to represent them and what they do. For those that don’t my work amongst Personal Development groups, has been a major assistance in enabling me to create a format which helps to unleash, identify and channel individual preferences. Respectfully, musicians and artist alike are creative people who retain strong vivid ideas about where they want their imagery to go. However, the time element involved in self-promotion can be very time consuming. My aim is to help to bring it all together, give it life, by helping to construct ideas into a solid material and useable, formatted promotional design.
But that aside, this page is simply my bits of 'stuff' which I've had fun doing and would like to share. I enjoy working in different styles, though I particularly favor using, light, texture, and shape.
Most of the works here are making suggestions,- they are a product of the many shapes, colours and texures of the things we see around us. The final conclusion as to the nature of the images is purposefully left open since I want you, the viewer to do some of the work, to get in touch with your creative side in a moment. I call these images 'open pictures'. Unlike images which state what they are more definitely and may be more finite.
It's amazing what the unconscious comes out with, it reflects our inner most part no matter which media we use to give it a voice. Which is why I want to encourage all creativity, as it is crucial part of our make up.
LOOK AFTER OUR PLANET
- THINGS THAT YOU ARE NOT USING - TURN OFF ! ! !
FROM THE MOMENT WE TAKE OUR FIRST BREATH WE ARE INSTRUCTED WHAT OUR NEEDS WILL BE AND WE SPEND MUCH OF OUR LIVES TRYING TO OBTAIN, MAINTAIN, ENHANCE AND KEEP THESE SO CALLED NEEDS. WE THEN SPEND A LOT OF TIME AND MONEY TRYING TO REMAIN AND SPARKLE AS AN INDIVIDUAL AMONGST IT ALL. BUT WE WERE ALWAYS INDIVIDUAL FROM BIRTH ANYWAY. BY THE TIME WE REALIZE THIS FACT WE ARE MORE THAN LIKELY OLD AND GREY. BUT DOES IT REALLY MATTER ANYWAY ?
RELAX ! ... ENJOY ! ... LEARN ! ... LAUGH ! ... LOVE ! ... AND BE CREATIVE! (IN THOUGHT AS WELL AS ACTION).
One day you did something that shamed you, you used a belief system and you judged yourself and felt bad. Another day you did something really good, it made you proud and you were pleased with yourself - and then you realized that it made your head swell, and you judged yourself and you felt bad. One day someone else judged you, and it made you feel bad. Another day you too easily judged someone else – then you realized and it made you feel bad. One day you learned something from someone else. Another day someone learned something from you. One day you were frustrated because you felt that you had wasted your time - another day you longed for some time to waste. One day you felt you that you owed something to someone. Another day you beleived that someone owed something to you. You set standards, you set goals, sometimes you set the standards/goals too high – sometimes too low. When you reach them you have nowhere to go and you have to set more. You are not static – you are constantly moving. You endlessly strive and strive to reach these standards which you have set up for yourself. You experience pain when you cannot reach them - you feel a short pleasure when you do. You took a different route that happened to you on the way. You found an opportunity and you missed another. You are self-satisfied – you are unfulfilled. You are like everyone else. You are lucky because of where you were born and what happened to you. You are unlucky because of where you were born and what happened to you. You are all important - you are not important at all. What happened to you? What did you do with it? Does it matter?
I WELCOME ALL CREATIVE PEOPLE: DESIGNERS, DIGITAL ARTISTS, ILLUSTRATORS, PHOTOGRAPHERS, SCULPTURERS, CRAFTERS, MUSICIANS, DJ's, ANYONE INVOLVED IN, ( and all aspects of), PROMOTION, i.e. RECORD COMPANIES, VENUE ORGANIZERS & AGENCIES, as well as FILM & ANIMATION MAKERS, FILM COMPANIES, WRITERS, POETS, ACTORS, THEATERS, MAGAZINES, GALLERIES and OTHERS THAT KNOW ME.
- for the purpose of sharing resources and exchanging ideas.
In addition I am also interested in meeting anyone supporting the 'Autistic Awareness Campaign' or creatives who wish to use their talents to spread the word towards a clearer understanding of the autistic spectrum, and anyone else seeking justice, recognition and fairness for autism.
I make it my personal policy to accept and add friends whose work I respect and believe will be of benefit to others who are interested or involved in the world of creativity.
(I’m afraid that ‘popularity collectors’, or those who I consider may have any other alternative motivations to add me WILL BE REFUSED.
