About Me

Pacific Music Foundation (PMF) is a nonprofit Hawai'i corporation. Our mission is to “facilitate music that soothes” by (1) fostering an appreciation of music and encouraging music making in the community through workshops, performances, and education, (2) promoting Hawaiian musical and cultural traditions and language in Hawai’i, the nation, and the world, and (3) sharing the healing gifts of music.

I'd like to meet:

Anybody and everybody. We want to connect with people who enjoy Hawaiian music, language, and culture, and who believe that music has a unique ability to soothe, to heal, to join people together, and to open paths of communication on the deepest of levels. Finally, we want to partner with those who are interested in supporting our mission through participation in music making, through volunteering their talents and time, and through membership in PMF.

Music:

PFM promotes music making through a variety of events and projects. One of our recent projects was to executive produce the gorgeous new CD by Ho'omalie, "Only You." The music on this CD exemplifies our mission, "to facilitate music that soothes." Ho'omalie's debut CD "Only You" has been released!

Ho'omalie's debut CD, "Only You, " is a breath of fresh air in contemporary Hawaiian music that you are sure to enjoy. The album swings and soothes with a beautiful and compelling sound featuring a blend of styles from jazz to hymns to ballads to nahenane and oli, showcasing Ho'omalie's signature four-part harmonies. It's a CD you'll want to listen to again and again, certain to be a new favorite.

At this time, stock is in limited supply and available only on Oahu. We are working hard to widen our distribution significantly, including making it available through the internet. Please keep checking back for more info!
