Taropatch.net is an online community dedicated to Hawaiian music including ki ho‘alu, steel guitar, ‘ukulele, and more. Launched February 2002, Taropatch.net has been mentioned in Acoustic Guitar, The Honolulu Advertiser, Lonely Planet and Taylor Guitar's Wood & Steel and recognized as a valuable resource for musicians, fans and enthusiasts around the world.
Taropatch.net fosters a community where people can share ideas, song and aloha in cyberspace. Our community is living proof of how far reaching the popularity of Hawaiian music truly is today. In addition to registered members representing O‘ahu, Maui, the Big Island, Kaua‘i and Molokai, members come from 46 US states, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. I've met so many cool, fascinating people along the way. Mahalo to the the online ‘ohana!
My Music
I play Hawaiian slack key guitar . In 2007, I got to perform with friends at the 15th Annual Taro Festival in Hana, Maui and open for the Makaha Sons in Stratham, NH. I have performed at weddings, fundraisers, corporate, private and public events throughout the New York tri-state area.
