.. Create Your OwnThe Chairman I Heard the Angels Cry! By The Chairman I heard the angels cry. Their sounds were screeching sounds, and as I turned around and around To see from whence the sounds were coming- And no mattered where I turned, No matter where I looked, No matter where I sought, I could not find from whence the sounds came. Suddenly, The sounds became louder as the angels cried- My eyes became big As my head began to swell- My body began to quiver- And fear sat in As the angels cried. I knew there were more than one- And as the angels cried- I fell to the ground, and While doing so, I could see my grandmama's eyes- The more they cried--The angels, Visions appeared to me- Souls upon souls upon souls, Intertwined and embraced- And beneath the souls Were fluids—puddles labeled, "Disgraced." And as the angels cried, I heard their moans- My stomach began to rumble- As unto a woman giving birth- I felt their pains- I felt their agony- And above their silhouettes, I saw the name, "Mustard Seed!" As these things were revealing its clues to me, My mind broaden for me to conceive- No matter what my trials and tribulations were, I thought about all of those who suffered before me- And as I gave thought! The Angels cries began to dissipate- My pains began to fade away- And tears fell from my eyes- In a strange way, I started to believe... And simultaneously- The angels began to sing as I rose from the ground, I reached out and picked up my crown- And the angels came before me- They took the crown right out of my hand And crowned me! And, as the angels stretched out to bowed before me, I believed! My eyes had open- The hope of my ancestors has lengthened, And my heart and mind was transformed- To its rightful place- As I stood majestically, For I am a- King!
