Frank Thomas Williams, is the director of the Senior Ex-Offenders Program, a unique and innovative program service in San Francisco, Ca aimed at providing a wide range of new services to assist Senior Citizens in their efforts to re-affiliate within their local communities after incarceration in state, local and federal penal institutions. He is a case manager for the Criminal on Juvenile and Criminal Justice (SF)and a consultant for The Tabernacle Community Housing Development (SF).In addition to his ground breaking work with the Senior Ex-Offender Program (first of its kind in the nation), Frank Williams is a respected community advocate. He is the published author of “Knowledge in Poetic Views,†found on www.amazon.com, and other outlets. He is also a spoken words artist who performed at The Green Mill in Chicago, Il. to The Poetic Groove in Oakland, Ca; as well as a Motivational Speaker, and presentor at such events held by AARP, California Endowment, and the California Alcohol and Drugs Programs.Mr. Williams continually volunteers his time and expertise with several significant community service programs and organizations in San Francisco including the City of Hope Mentors and All of Us or None; and he sits on the Goodwill Industries SF/Marin/San Mateo Counties Board of Directors, the National African American Constituent Committee, and the San Francisco Safer Community Reentry Council.Mr. Williams holds an AA degree in Literal Arts from Skyline College and a BA (BSW) degree in Social Work from San Francisco State University. He has a Masters degree in Humanities and Leadership from New College of California. Mr. Williams is presently a Ph.D. learner at Capella University. Mr. Williams is a member of the California Association of Alcohol and Drugs Educator (CAADE) and he earned his certificate in Alcohol and Drug Studies from City College of San Mateo, in December 1999.
