About Me
I am a horror and fantasy writer of novels, short stories, and, on occasion, poems. In my own opinion, most of my poems are craptastic, but every now and then I'll write something worth reading. I put together a collection of the better ones, which you can learn more about below.
I also have a book published and available to order via Lulu. It's a horror/erotica vampire work that first started out as a just-for-fun story on Quizilla. There it dominated the Highest Rated list, earned me 50 or more pieces of fan mail a day and even several hate messages from those who wished a painful death on me because I am apparently "sick and disturbed" (I don't think it's that gory myself, but, hey, what do I know? I'm just a writer).
Anyway, the story then was called "Vampires Don't Exist." I received several requests (and even some threats) to turn the story into a full-length novel. I couldn't say no. The story is now called "Dead Seed" and has been totally revamped with a fresh first chapter, new scenes, a more complex plot, and more.

"This book is completely amazing. It takes the reader inside the heart and mind of a vampire. You develop sympathy toward characters that should have no reason for it at all. Love for treachery. A very detailed story that pulls you right in, and as the plot progresses it will make you emotional. If you love to read about vampires, BUY THE BOOK!"

"'Vampires Don't Exist' is a thrilling novel. With plot twists, emotional highs and lows, believable characters and so much more, it kept me on the edge of my seat and turning pages. At times, moments are so high strung and gripping, you just keep reading one paragraph over and over until you can recite the lines on your own. [R.] Vance has such skill displaying scenes and [portraying] the characters to such an extent, everything becomes real in your mind. You actually get the feeling that you are the protagonist. You will come to love all the characters, though some more than others, no matter how cruel or annoying they seem. If you read "Vampires Don't Exist", I can almost guarantee that it will make you cringe in delightful disgust at the gruesome detail and make your heart flutter at the same time. You'll be glancing over your shoulder and thinking twice before stepping out into the dark or even down into your own basement. This is a must have and must read book and I would rate it 5/5."
