I'm an author/publisher and I notice as an author we are being heard but not seen and we don't get the credit that is due to us. Some of us do, I should say 20% and sometime not that many get into Essence etc. But guess where we end up at in the middle or the back of the magazine. So I decide to put foot forward so we can have a magazine and be seen all around the world. This magazine is total focus on the writers of america.
