Dr. D. L. Teamor was born and raised in the Metro Detroit Area, but has always loved her "second home" in Coraopolis, PA her dad's hometown. She currently teaches Entrepreneurship in the Detroit Public Schools, and has released three books - - "A Harlem Love Song," "Womanchild: A Rebirth" and "Because Our Story Will Never End..." She has now realized the dream she had of releasing her literary works during her days reciting poetry at Detroit Coffeehouses such as Café Mahogany, Black World and Coffee and Cream, as well as with the Poets of Pitch Black Poetry.She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, an MBA, and a Ph.D. in Business Marketing, which she completed at age 25. She will complete her second Doctorate, a Doctorate of Theology in Systematic Theology in June, 2008.She gives all thanks and praise to Jesus Christ, and knows that she has been tremendously blessed because of Him. She lives daily by her favorite Scripture, “Be careful for nothing, but in all things, through prayer and supplication and with thanksgiving, make your requests known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.†Philippians 4:6-7.
