We officially launched our profile on December 9th, 2006. We are a multi-religious, multi-denomination effort.
Our main focus is on prayer and prayer in Jesus' name The Name above all names! We believe in answered prayer in His name, we're walking testimonies of this!
Please make this profile welcoming to ALL who agree with our cause. Christian or non-Christians and whatever denomination they may be! There's no denomination or division or religion on our profile or in our group! We're uniting the world together in prayer in Jesus' name. So, invite ALL of your friends!
Whenever a prayer request message is sent to our profile. A blog entry to our profile and a bulletin post to our group of your prayer request will be posted within 24 hours. The blog and bulletin entry will be your wording it is your prayer request.
People will be able to subscribe to our blog to get prayer requests all the time. Anyone will be able to view our blog and our group bulletins to pray as well! And prayer requests are submitted DAILY, so please be sure to look in DAILY
We respect your privacy at all times. So, anyone submitting a prayer request to our profile , no information of you will be revealed except your first name if you specifically request this. Some people like to pray by a first name.
The blog entry and bulletin entry will be numbered and we'll give you the number and a specific link, so that you can track your specific prayer request. To see if someone may leave a comment that they're praying or offering you words of edification and exhortation. We HIGHLY encourage this on our profile!
Ephesians 4:29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
These prayer requests are going around the world and being seen by people 24/7! This is powerful! We expect to hear some praise reports! And please submit them to us. They will be featured in a special section of our page and added at the end of the blog of the answered prayer request.
We realize some people submitting prayer requests don't want advice or counsel, just prayer, so this won't be forced on anyone. And we also realize the prayer requests may get too personal. So, one reply to your prayer request will be made saying what number your prayer request was added to our blog , a link to it and group bulletin and we're praying and agreeing with you and that these prayers are going around the world 24 hours a day 7 days a week. No long reply, just that short one.
Please leave comments in our blog that you're praying and showing others love, the person who submitted the prayer request will be able to see these and it will mean a lot to them! We HIGHLY encourage this on our site!
The Group:
Our group is free discussion about anything to make friends and such, but we still want to maintain the emphasis on prayer and any Christian discussion.
Prayer request posts are accepted in our group , if you'd like to post one publicly.
Please refrain from posting anything too revealing of another person in our group that may be harmful to another person. Please keep the prayer requests to first names only and no links to their profile or websites. Those will be deleted by our moderators ASAP and still added to our blogs and bulletins anonymously.

"I'm the founder of Myspace Prayer Chain. How this all came about is I posted a bulletin on my main profile asking for prayer requests, then I posted another one that I'm praying. I saw the tremendous response and need so I feel God inspired me to make the profile and group. I woke up and saw what God was to have me do.
I've been blessed to find people who believe in this. And I've been blessed to find Godly help.
I'm 26 years old living in Cincinnati, Ohio. I work part-time in retail at a mall. I volunteer at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital and in youth ministry. And I own my own business, .. auctions and real estate. I believe in the power of prayer and answered prayer. I'm a testimony of it! One example is Christian believers prayed for my salvation, now I'm part of the kingdom! Praise God!

3. Only first names will be added, no last names, unless it is prayer for a celebrity or famous minister or business or ministry
4. Prayer requests for ministries, businesses and causes accepted and encouraged. Even with the name of the ministry or business and details of your cause, we believe in ministry obviously!
5. No links/URLs to other websites or profiles will be added
6. No addresses will ever be added, this includes all writing prison inmates or ministries, we don't know if claims are legitimate and legal and we can't support any one ministry over another, we're trying to keep our non-denomination one in unity identity, we are a free prayer site believing in prayer in Jesus' name, the Name Above All Names. If a person is interested in supporting your cause or believe in what you're doing they can reach you by commenting in the prayer request, then you can find them, or by your ministries or businesses name there in the blog they could probably easily look you up, thanks.
7. Also prayer for missionaries and what they're doing and what is needed by them are accepted and recommended. But we cannot tell they're full name or how to reach them. The internet can be seen by the world and this may put their Godly work in jeopardy and their lives in danger. We know this because of missionary friends we have.
8. All comments of our profile and blog must be approved this avoids hateful, hurtful remarks, that only we can see before being approved. And this person will be blocked from this profile immediately. This is the only reason for banning or blocking or deleting a friend. A friend of this site remains a friend of this site inevitably unless you delete us.
9. All messages sent to our inbox, once replied, it will be deleted, same with the message in our sent message folder
10. Our password will be changed DAILY

We will create alternate versions of our profile in other languages to be run by bilinguals to translate prayers there here and prayers here there.
Our Mission:
1. Uniting people together as one to pray and uplift each other around the world. No division and denomination and race. One in Jesus "The Name above all names." Prayer and united as one is more powerful then we realize a big old chain of prayer warriors across the world!
2. Encouraging prayer, we know people forget to pray this needs to be encouraged on the profile this is why testimony videos are there some people forget to pray. We're also adding praise reports to our main page. And submitting bulletins whenever praise reports come in! When our first praise report came in, our prayer requests were greatly multiplied!
3. Praise reports will encourage prayers submitted and people to pray in their own lives more. We also encourage praise reports in general, not just praise reports of prayers submitted here. The more we keep doing this the more people are praying and believing around the world and the more praise reports and answered prayers come in! And the more glorifying Jesus The Name above all names!
4. Have unbelievers or backsliders find Christ through answered prayer in His name this happens a few ways:
a) last minute they ask for prayer in His name here (God will send them here too) and when their prayer is answered they find Him!
b) believers here submitting prayer requests for unbelievers
c) We have a link on our main page to find Christ in our other creation HisSpace that will have banner ads soon to add to your profiles
d) Answered prayer, An example: We had a prayer request come in that Roger would like to get well to preach the word again, and when this is answered he will spread the gospel again as well!
5) To expand this to other Myspace outreaches and helping people sites and Myspace groups (some of this God has given us vision for already!) and promoting other Godly Myspace's we find with banner ads and such, we're all a team in Christ!
6) To use Myspace for God it's already a network of millions around the world! But expand this beyond Myspace you may share the prayer request blog with others to pray, and encourage people who don't have a Myspace account to tell you there need or if you know someone who has a need please submit it to us!
7) Get our group used all the time with free friendly discussion, helpful articles, audios, videos, prayer requests submitted there as well
8) Translating our page into other languages, prayer requests there translated here in English and prayer requests here translated there
9) Others to help this site who believe in what we're doing. We want you to help if you believe in it! This is mostly done by subscribing to our blog, reading our blog and praying DAILY, adding comments to our blog to encourage and edify others and participating in our group. Also adding our banner ad and promoting us!
