Jeffry Rott is a 53 year old musician, songwriter who started playing music at the age of 15.
In 1971 after returning from the Vietnam war, he came to a belief in Jesus and started writing songs about his newfound faith.The Jesus Movement was in full flower and he was living with the Philadelphia Jesus People. He formed his first band there called "Light of the Son".
Over the years he has played with Christian and non-Christian bands and about 1992 quit playing music altogether.
Last year he started playing again and began recording a cd "The Witness". Working at his home office/Studio, he expects the cd to be finished by the end of the year. The cd is a retrospective of the Music of the Jesus Movement of the early 70's.
Besides recording the CD he is in the process of rebuilding MaddKlown Studio from a 16 track tape based to a 24 track digital.

I play guitar, bass guitar, and keyboards. Drums on the cd are a Boss DR-5 machine, and a Casio LD-80 the Lord just blessed me with.
All songs recording on a Fostex FD-8 multitracker in my home office. Mixes done in Sony Acid Pro 6, with Sax and sound effects done with Acid.

Most of the stuff you see in the pics and used to record the music was given to me by Earl Kerbo owner of MaddKlown Studios special thanks to him.
