What to say about me? Hmm, so a lil about me, I'm 34 and loving it, and the mother of four wonderful children...I have two daughters and twin boys that keep me busy...Up until about 4 years ago, I was a residence of Oakland, CA...I now reside in Ohio temporarily(I hope)...I miss home, but it's so crazy there, I doubt if I move back, at least not to Oakland...I can see myself somewhere in tha bay area tho or surroundings cities...I come from where it's hyphy..they go dumb..town of tha mack...and none otha than Short himself...
ok, i know i definitely won't be living in Ohio for the rest of my life, lol.. I'll always love Oakland, cuz it gave me my game..and allowed my creativity to be real when I'm writing...i think Ohio is killing some of my brain cells...I went from 75 to 0 in 3.4 seconds, lmao
I'm passionate about what I do. Writing has always been a much needed outlet to step away from the madness of the world. The majority of my work consists of poetry. I can just about make anything rhyme, lol. My poetry is an outlet on what I'm feeling about life. This can range from love, hate, to what's going on in the world.
Somewhere along the line, I picked up writing erotic stories. I've built a nice collection of those as well, and I think one day I may do a book with my flava of eroticism.
The writing is getting revamped...for those that have been awhile for a while, you know I started with Survivin Tha Game and Sex, Lies, Men & Friends. Those 2 projects will become one with the title being Survivin Tha Game. They will still be the 2 stories, but Survivin will be renamed Babydoll and then Sex, Lies, Men & Friends. That will be released under My Time Publications. My publishing company. Yaaayyyy!!!!
I will be re-releasing a few other things as well as come with new projects. I've always loved everything literary and i refuse to let anyone stop me do my thang...I'm in it to win it...
As far as my writing, I don't consider myself the next ____, the baby _____ ..nor can I say I will say my writing is like ______...I'm the first Leila, lol...I write real life shyt, or shyt that is real in my life and I add a few twists and 'what ifs' along the way...if u like what I bring to the table, it's greatly appreciated...if what i write ain't ur cup of tea, it happens...no matter what, I love what I do, and writing will always be me
