About Me

Growing up in Glasgow, Sue has always felt hugely thankful for being a Scot, not least because travelling becomes a great joy when one is gratefully received all around the world. It was first suggested to Sue during those infant travels that she may possess a small talent for 'the chanting' that she may need to explore. As a result, Sue's music career started on return to the beautiful city as part of the dance outfit Solar Plexus (originally called Virus, 'but that was just so negative'). With high hopes, the band explored the potential of George's 303 and Max's drum machine. It got close, but it was not to be.There followed a few collaborations in the fair city before a move to Inverness led to Sue hooking up with Kenny, formally of Raining the Stairs. This proved to be a productive writing period but Sue was hankering for a return to her home town. Unsurprisingly, the call of the city (that was miles better) won out and the job of seeking out like minded musicians began again.Engine 7 found Sue and the writing and gigging resumed once more. Sue has velvatine vocals and a presence on stage that people like to comment on. She welcomes the opportunity to find more electronic and acoustic geniuses to engage with to conquer a small part of the planet with.
