Dubstep?SpaceJazz?(Wait a minute,what about fuckoff jazz?)Chillout with a hiphop twist?Drum'n'bass?These are just a few words used to describe stereovolvo's genre-defying sound.Producers and longtime collaborators Peter Warren-Smith and Anthony Norris reunite to add a new dimension to the space-dub continuum.stereovolvo is a study in low-end theory combining dub tracks that draw strength from modern jazz fusion,Afro/Jamaican rhythm styles and ambient electronics.Starting from humble beginnings with a residency at the Bridge hotel,Richmond,stereovolvo have gone on to play Scubar(residency),The Laundry,The Purple Emerald(residency)as well as Earthdance,The Vinyard,Veludo and The Belgian Beer Cafe.One of the highlights of 2008 has been playing the Myer Music Bowl at KissMyGrass festival.Stoked to be releasing their debut album soon,stereovolvo will be playing a festival/nightclub/party near you.
