Formed in 2003, twelve34 has spent the last 4 years honing their craft and bringing their electric live show to the stage. After 2006's musically diverse "Sinful Melody" EP, the band has returned to their songwriting roots of previous years to release the full-length rock-and-roll album "The Only Cure".
Described as "rock-and-roll with a mustache" by lead singer Jasen Colson, the band's music crosses several rock genres, unified by a common retro-rock sound. Colson, along with his bandmates Dave Doran, Chris Amos, and brothers Eric and Jay St-Cyr, deliver an exciting sound that blends influences such as Led Zeppelin, Guns and Roses, and Yes.
Recently signed to Cyclone Records, twelve34's success over the past few years can be contributed to nothing less than good, honest, hard work. By mixing solid onstage shows, outstanding recorded material, and an old-school swagger, the band is poised to bring its sound to the next level. "The Only Cure" provides a sampling of the band's musical variety, delivering track after track of rhythm, groove, harmonies, and raunchy guitar. With guitar-heavy tracks such as "Let It Save You" and the title track "The Only Cure", and moodier tracks such as "Too Damn Late", the album appeals to a wide variety of audiences.
