Jeff et Phil, les deux membres fondateurs du groupe musical URIHANI, ont crée un projet culturel qui a pour but de sensibiliser chacun aux problèmes de respect de l’environnement par une approche artistique.

Urihani n’appartient à aucun groupe politique, idéologique ou religieux.

En langage Yanomami, tribu amazonienne, URIHANI signifie « esprit des arbres, esprit de la forêt ».C'est tout d'abord une aventure humaine, un message d'espoir pour les amoureux de la Nature.
La musique est également un moyen d'attirer l'attention du public sur l'état de santé de la planète. Elle permet à sa manière de renforcer la prise de conscience actuelle.
Une nouvelle alliance avec la nature doit être trouvée. Le rapport de l’homme avec son environnement est primordial, il doit le préserver dans le cadre d’un développement durable. La raison commune nous presse d’agir, chacun doit faire des efforts au quotidien, en consommant mieux, en polluant moins.
Nous sommes à la recherche de photographies, et de videos de qualité (montages vidéastes, veejays...) pouvant être exploitées librement. (Merci de nous fournir les autorisations nécessaires pour leur diffusion gratuite).

The two Authors and Composers Phil and Jeff met in 2003 and created the URIHANI project that aims to sensitize everyone to environmental problems through an artistic approach.

In Yanomami language, an Amazonian tribe, URIHANI means . « spirit of the trees, spirit of the forest ».It is firstly a human adventure, to deliver a positive message for lovers of Nature.
The music aims also to attract the attention of the public on the state of the planet. It enables, in its own way, to reinforce the current awareness.
A new alliance with nature must be found. The relation between man and its environment is crucial, and must be preserved through sustainable development. Common sense urges us to act, everyone must make daily efforts, by consuming better, and limiting pollution.
