Shellie Morris

Shellie is an indigenous Darwin based singer/songwriter who has been performing her songs throughout Australia for the past 4 years. She was nominated for Australia's Deadly Vibe Awards in 2002 and has won the Best Female Artist 2004/2005 Northern Territory Indigenous Music Awards Shellie has supported many bands including Yothu Yindi and Magic Dirt. Shellies strength is in her songwriting, vocal ability and lyrical content. She enjoys working with indigenous communities and youth throughout Australia and helping young people to write music about their experiences.
