About Me

My name is Frederik. I'm from Denmark. I live in a suburb outside Copenhagen which is the capitol of Denmark. I'm a member of the band THE KUBES. The name doesn't really mean anything but it sounds good! We changed the name from "The Cubes" to "The Kubes" when our former bass player left the groupe.I play the guitar and I am the proud owner of a 2004 Rickenbacker 360. I fell in love with the Rickenbackers when I discovered The Beatles. The first thing I loved about these beautiful instruments was the design. Later I realized that Rickenbacker guitars are known for their sound - which I love. Just pick any band from the sixties - they all played Rickenbacker back then. Eg. The Beatles, The Who, The Byrds, The Kinks, The Animals, The Turtles, The Beach Boys, etc.I also got a Taylor 210 acoustic guitar, Fender Telecaster, Hamer echotone, and a Santana no. 8. The Santana was my first guitar. It's pretty worn now.My amplifier is a Vox AC30. The sound of a Rickenbacker through a Vox AC30 is the greatest sound on earth!

John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey, John Entwistle, Keith Moon, Ray Davies, Dave Davies, Mike Avory, Peter Quaife, Adolph RICKENBACKER, the guys from Travis, etc. I met Toto (Steve Lukather & Co.) last year in Denmark, but I'd like to meet the again sometime!
