THE MAP IS NOT THE TERRITORY

About Me

'THE MAP IS NOT THE TERRITORY' - IAN COLLINS

Everyone has their own 'subjective' map of the world. It represents what goes on around us, what things mean to us and what we believe and feel about them - our perceptions, or what we understand as experience or reality.

All this map making goes on in our minds as we try to understand the world we live in. Every persons map differs, you have the right to change your mind, none of us sees things as reality.

The map (our subjective, limited perception) is not the territory (of reality).

'10 great songs, 10 memories, 10 moments in time' - Drumbeat

'An innovate album, truely independent, a jangly guitar triumph' - Q

'A piece of another decade, an inspiration' - NY Music Review

'Psychedelic power pop, dark undertones in a silky jingle-jangle coating, certainly unusual, devilishy catchy' - LA Times

'Ian Collins is an inspired writer, this is a great album' - Focus France

AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE AT ALL LEADING STOCKISTS AND FROM MAJOR DIGITAL DOWLOAD SITES.

THE ALBUM CAN ALSO BE PURCHASED ONLINE AT CD BABY and INDIECENTRIC. BUY THE ALBUM DIRECT AT WWW.CIO-MUSIC.COM via PAYPAL.
