Like many my music career started by listening to the Beatles and thinking 'I want to do that!" My Gran helped me to buy an electric guitar ( it was called a 'Zenta') and I proceeded to learn all of the songs from the Beatles Complete Songbook.(after about 6 months I got my first amp called a 'Norman').My first real band was the punk/power pop band ..Virgnia Doesn't, formed with my school friends. With the punk/alternative music scene riding high we soon established a very high energy stage act and supported among others ..The Jam.., "Joe Jackson.. and "The Vapours".After the usual 'musical diffrences' the band split and I moved to London. In London I played as a session musician (a highlight was sessions at Abbey Road) and played in many bands the most notable being "King Butcher.. with Jon King from ..Gang Of Four.. on vocals ", which had a huge influence on me. I also worked in Utopia recording studios and meet many great musicians and producers. I moved to Cornwall in the west of England and started to write and produce for media, film. and TV. During all of this I have played in the blues band ..Horace Bachelor and the Zeebra Kitten Blues Band..,who have supported ..BB King.., ..Wilco Johnson.. and .. Nine Below Zero... I now live in Sweden and work with the singer Viveka Eriksson ('Laid Back Viv') in 'BirdontheMoon' along with writing music for film and media.
