What should I say? My approach can best be described as "painting with bass", to borrow a concept from David Torn. The music here is in solo, duo and trio settings. I am still working on my first solo bass project which was started in November 2006.
VECTOR TRIO
I play bass in a band called Vector Trio. We are trumpet, bass and drums playing original electronic urban grooves soundscapes. We like to blur the line between composition and improv and sound and noise using loops and effects. Our third CD, Paths Unknown, was released in September 2006 at the Festival of New Trumpet (FONT) in NYC. The trio allows me more than enough room to stretch out and to play more than just the bass function.

Aleasthete
A trio which includes Jason Mullinax aka Pilesar (toys, percussion, electronics) and Jason Tremblay (feedback, modulation, oscillation, delay) that explores texture and denisity within a linear continuum. I've posted a track from our first EP recorded in Jan 2008.
Nine Strings
A duo project with Daniel Barbiero on double bass and myself on NS bass cello. We completed our first recording in Jan 2008 and a track is posted above.
ITALIAN - Studio italiano da cinque anni ma non sono mai stato in italia. Ho comenciato di suonare il basso all'eta di 16 anni. Mi piace offuscare la linea tra composizione e improvvisazione, tra suono e rumore. Quando sono andato a un concerto di King Crimson in 1974 fu una folgorazione. Alcuni dei mei sogni sono andare alla festival Rassegna di Nuova Musica a Macerata, verdere un derby allo stadio di San Siro e mangiare tortellini in brodo a Bologna.
