RONN LYNN's work with studio session men DARREN OSBORN, bassist JOE OSBORN and Bread keyboardist LARRY KNECHTEL, who came to Lynn's studio to help him record an album, resulted in what is now The SwellTones "Between The Forceps And The Stone". "Here's these guys who had worked in the studio with acts like The Mamas and Papas, Simon and Garfunkel, America, Fifth Dimension, The Association, The Monkees, The Byrds, The Carpenters, the big hit makers of the day. They came to my studio to work with me and I was very humbled by it all". Although these players play every kind of style, the SwellTone sound is very 60's and 70's retro. Alot of jingle jangle and Rickenbacker! Ronn and Darren have worked on and continue to work together on numerous projects for over 20 years.
