I am a 46 yo single father living in Bunbury, Western Australia. I have two university degrees, one obtained at Curtin University in Perth and the other at Bunbury's Edith Cowan Uni. Broadband internet has helped me garner the equivalent of a masters degree in propaganda during the last couple of years.My final project at Uni in 2003 was to examine the role of mainstream media in the invasion of Iraq. I found most (Fox, ABC,bbbc, nbc, ET AL) TO BE NOT ONLY GUILTY OF BEING 'IN BED' WITH THE MILITARY BUT ALSO COMPLICIT IN THE LIES THAT ALLOWED THIS INVASION AND ONGOING OCCUPATION OF new Babylon. That guilt has been aggravated by the msm's continuous endorsement of the bush/cheney/fox conspiracy theories regarding 9/11/2001.no pictures of plane wreckage at the pentagon (or shanksville/new baltimore/pencilvainear)? come on; we've all seen pics of plane wreckage-they don't disintegrate/vaporise!!! 911 is a scam, folks. please look a little deeper than the mainstream.Last year I helped produce a short (35 min) documentary about the human rights of people with disabilities, entitled "We're Human, Right!"Formerly i edited, published and printed a political/arts magazine called TWOT (The War On Terror, etc). However, the lack of political awareness in this country, coupled with other lacks (personnel, seed capital, advertising support, etc) led me to abandon 'hard-copy' after three issues.I am in the process of consolidating my research and works of poetry and essays into this and other blogs called "Troubled Waters Of Today" or other such acronymic assemblies. I have been teaching a filmmaking course at the advocacy agency for whom we produced the documentary, We're Hunman, Right. The current project involves teaching a group of people with disabilities, some carers and advocacy staff how to conceive of a script, use a video camera and an editing suite. The group has nearly completed making their short films and soon we hope to show them to the public.Mainstream media just doesn't cut it! They run PROGRAMMES and treat us like robots. However, interestingly enough, I have just been offered a new position with a msm company in my home town (20 hours a week). The monopoly weekday newspaper has just decided to begin an online magazine portal with an 'indymedia' ethos. It will be launched in a couple of weeks.They want to encourage locals to send in pics and stories about things they see and that concern them. of course, they are thinking that most of the stuff will be petty cake recipes and damaged roads (which, no doubt, will have their place in such a forum), but I'm hoping aware ppl will send in pics of chemtrails and ask questions about them, as well as questioning the upcoming election in effective ways. I will be a 'moderator'. it's going to be interesting and, of course, the employment contract says i can't release any trade secrets while in the job or even after i leave it. i don't need or want any 'trade secrets' anyway, lol. i already knew what they were;) .. I will continue to do what i can to learn and teach wherever i am and whoever will listenenjoy these pix: .. ..
