About Me

The Elastik Band was a pop/psyche/garage band in the 1960s. Most notably, they recorded the infamous cult favorite "Spazz" on Atco Records in 1967, which later appeared on compilations such as "Pebbles Vol. 1" (1978), "Nuggets Vol. 2: Punk" (1984), and the "Nuggets Box Set" (1998). While the Elastik Band released a handful of singles including "Spazz", the band actually recorded two full albums' worth of material, which has been salvaged from the original tapes. A comprehensive reissue of the Elastik Band's 1960s recordings is available directly from the band at www.digital-cellars.com.
