Lollipop Magazine

We're officially a music, entertainment, and lifestyle magazine, but "rock mag" is shorter to slur. We cover all kinds of music: Punk, metal, stoner, indie, electro/industrial, you get the idea. We cover the hard stuff (including knuckledragging and Satan-hailing stuff), we cover the gentle stuff (from math rock noddling to the emoting softcore boys, as long as they can hit the right notes), and opinions vary wildly depending on who wrote what, and if they'd gotten any the night before.

Fuck being polite and sensitive to the yearning artistic spirit. If a band sucks, we say so. We aren't here to make bands feel good about themselves, we're here to voice an opinion on what's worth checking out, and what to avoid like dogshit on the sidewalk.

We have photographers all over the country shooting the bands they think rock, and the hottest models WHO LOVE MUSIC wearing Lollipop tee shirts. This stuff's subjective: Lots of good bands look boring live, and everyone's taste in hotties is different. We try to offer some cool variety, so hopefully ya like some, and other stuff, well, just skip it.

Generally, we add 2-3 CDs reviews a day, a DVD review every day or two, 2 features a week, 2 model galleries a week, at least one band gallery a day, a comic a day, and each week, we add at least one column, game review, website review, book/zine review, product review, Lifestyle Fashion gallery, and maybe some ecards or other stuff we like.
