I have gone through love and pain in my lifetime. I Have caused some of the pain. :-(. I am on the verge of getting a divorce.

BELOW VIDEO: From the movie Beat Girl-1960. Some real cool people having a happening. A friend posted this and I thought it was groovy. :-)
BELOW VIDEO: Bad Reputation - Thin Lizzy [Dublin, Ireland] - 1977 - "Lynott at his nastiest. Some of the best guitar riffs that this band every put out. This song serves as a stellar showcase for drummer Brian Downey (certainly one of the most underrated of his generation)." - Dedication - The Very Best Of (Mercury)-1991.
BELOW VIDEO: My White Bicycle - Tomorrow - 1967 - "BEST bicycle riding song period. Their songwriting was accomplished, with adroit harmonies, psychedelic guitar HOOKS, and adventurous structures and tempo changes." - Uncut: Acid Daze-2003.
In the early days of British psychedelia, three bands were consistently cited as first-generation figureheads of the London-based underground sound: 'Pink Floyd', 'Soft Machine', and 'Tomorrow'. Song is about the free white bikes that are used in London.
BELOW VIDEO: Spock rocks out on the The Way To Eden episode.
BELOW VIDEO: Making Time - The Creation - 1966 - "A PERFECT example of the British mod sound." - Our Music Is Red-With Purple Flashes-1998.
Led by some positively severe power chord riffing from the Creation's resident guitar god, Eddie Phillips, this record is as powerful as any 'Who' record of the day, and the performance and overall moxie that the band had is well-represented here...
BELOW VIDEO. Like A Bad Girl Should - Cramps [New York] - 1997 - "AMG pick. Song about a VERY BAD girl. Whew." - Big Beat From Badsville (Epitaph)-1997.

BELOW VIDEO. Like Wow—Wipeout! - The Hoodoo Gurus [Australia] - 1985 - "Thanks Australia for one of their BEST. POUNDING drums, New-Wave vocals, guitar riffs." - Children of Nuggets (vol.4) Original Artyfacts from the Second Psychedelic Era - 1976-1995 [Rhino BOX SET] [ORIGINAL RECORDING REMASTERED]-2005.
Check out the BOX SET at: allmusic.com OR amazon.com OR: Stoneage Romeos (Acadia)-2002 at: allmusic.com OR: amazon.com

BELOW VIDEO. Cherry Bomb - The Runaways [Los Angeles, California] - 1976 - "Joan Jett (rhythm guitar & vocals)." - No Thanks! The '70s Punk Rebellion (Rhino-disc 1)-2003. One of the first girl hard rock groups, The Runaways, made their debut in 1976 with the self titled album. Cherie Currie (16 years old) in vocals, Joan Jett (16 years old) in rhythm guitar & vocals, Lita Ford (17 years old) in lead guitar, Jackie Fox (16 years old) in bass and vocals, and Sandy West (16 years old) in drums and vocals made a huge success in Japan but not so great in America and Europe.
Check out 'The Runaways' at: amazon.com OR 'The Best of the Runaways' at: allmusic.com

BELOW VIDEO: Sad Girl - The Stems [Perth, West Australia, Australia] - 1985 - "Typically great song by this group. Great guitar HOOKS, VOCALS." - Terminal Cool-Anthology 83-86 (Get Hip)-2005.
The Stems - Sad Girl
Uploaded by scootaway
BELOW VIDEO: Turn Me Loose - The Cynics [Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania] - 2002 - "A rip-roaring song from this PROLIFIC punk band." - Living Is The Best Revenge (Get Hip)-2002.

BELOW VIDEO: You're Gonna Miss Me - The Thirteenth Floor Elevators [Austin, Texas] - No.55 on 8/1966 - "Has BEEN REVERED so long as one of the core 1960s garage rock classics." - Nuggets: Original Artyfacts From The First Psychedelic Era (Disc 1)-1998. Has been revered so long as one of the core 1960s garage rock classics that it might come as a surprise to learn that its nationwide peak was a mere number 55. Is primal mid-'60s garage, right from its compulsive opening chords.

My Interests

Getting the most out of my Mac computer. Also science and photography. Adding to my garage music collection.

I'd like to meet:

ABOVE VIDEO: The Eagle Never Hunts The Fly - The Music Machine [Los Angeles, California] - 1967 - "AMG pick. One of their BEST. Is UNQUESTIONABLY their TOUR DE FORCE, even if few have heard it to this day." - Turn On-The Very Best Of The Music Machine (Collectables)-1999.
The Music Machine's debut would have been a lot better if they'd let Sean Bonniwell write all of the songs. Yer it was, as was often the case at the time, divided between fine Bonniwell originals and dispensable covers of current rock hits.

Music:

Mostly Garage Rock and Garage Rock Revival. (1960s, 1980s, 1990s). "Spirit". One of my favorite Jazz-Fusion bands; 1968-1970 their best years?

Movies:

Performance (1970) with Mick Jagger. All the Alien movies (1979, 1986, 1992). Rosemary's Baby (1968); Some creepy neighbors. The Exorcist (1973); Still one of the scariest movies ever made. Most 1950s Sci-Fi movies. I am a MAN, but have cried through some 'womens' movies. :-). Scarface (1983); Made me not want to cross Al Pacino (as Cuban drug kingpin Tony Montana) forever. Forrest Gump (1994); Saw the video recently and forgot how much I liked it! The Virgin Spring (1960); Academy Award 1961. A movie you will never forget!

Television:

Startrek (1966-69). I must be a Trekki. :-) Twilight Zone (1959-1964); Just when I though I saw them all, a new one shows up. Most documentary shows. Many Sci-Fi films from the 1950s. The Daily Show; To get the news. :-). I'm a c-span junkie. :-). Spike TV Cop chase shows; I am completely mesmerized by the shows. Discovery Channel-Deadliest Catch -Bering Sea; And you thought your job was hard! Comedy Central-Scrubs. Love the characters. Travel Channel. There are many show that I like and one of them is Cash and Treasures; once you got the bug you can't help but look at the ground.

Books:

Mostly non-fiction. Fuzz, Acid and Flowers Revisited; (Garage Rock). Photoshop books. Mac computer books. Road & Track magazine; since 1972. Macworld magazine.

Heroes:

Mahatma Gandhi. John F. Kennedy. Martin Luther King. Albert Einstein. Galileo Galilei. James T. Kirk. :-). High voltage electrical linemen.
