About Me

I graduated from The University of Memphis in 1985. Worked for a NBC Affiliate for about three years. Started out as a camera operator and worked my way up to weekend floor director. Then I started KLS Productions which is now Ken Shaw Films. Over the course of these years I have been involved in both the Television and Film industry.
Blah, blah, blah, I have won Two Telly Awards, a Best Programming Award from Charter/Comcast Cable for a show I directed, shot and edited called, "America's Storytellers".
More blah. In 2006 I directed and edited a short film for the 48 Hour Film contest and won BEST COMEDY for "WAG ON".
And yes, more blah. In 2007 I was involved in a short film for "Where's My Close-up Mr. Thornton?". I AD'd this one and also edited this winning short film. We won BEST OF ARKANSAS Award.
As with any project in the television and film industry it is about team effort and I could not have accomplished all of this without a great team in all of these situations.
I am currently involved in two major motion pictures. Stick around - it could get very interesting.
Cheers, -Ken
