Like most singers, I started singing in school and church choirs. Throughout junior and senior high school I studied voice and trained at a performing arts school in Kirkland Washington where I sang in musical theater, cabaret shows and participated in master classes. During that time I also sang at numerous private parties, charity auctions and sporting events.
When I was 14 and needed to record myself singing the 'Star Spangled Banner', a friend introduced me to a songwriter/ producer in Seattle who had a recording studio. That meeting led to a 10-year friendship and hundreds of hours in the recording studio. It was through that relationship that a Nashville producer heard me sing. In early 2007 he expressed an interest in producing an album with me. The rest is history!
I've just completed my album! I have worked with some amazing musicians, producers, singers and engineers and I'm ready to share my music with the world!
I'm not sure yet where this path will lead, but with the love and support of my family and friends, my dreams are endless and I'm ready for the ride!
