I'd like to meet:
LINO
CREATE, WORK & SHARE
The Liberian Networking Organization Inc. was established in 2003by Liberian social worker
Moses Zayee Jr.
The initiative was formed and run by some of the 45,000 Liberian refugees residing in the Buduburam Camp in Ghana,West Africa.
That number is but a fraction of the hundreds of thousands of Liberians killed and displaced in over twenty years of brutal war since 1980.
!! BUT A NEW DAY IS DAWNING FOR LIBERIA !!
The election in 2005 of
Africa's first female head of state
Mrs.Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf
has ushered in great hope for continued peace and progress in the nation founded in 1847 as a home for America's freed slaves.
Yet there is massive work to be done in rebuilding our war-ravaged country and its people.
LINO is reaching out to network with individuals and organizations that will help us obtain and implement the tools to do just that.
Though we have great pride in our counrty
and faith in God,
we are neither
politically nor denominationally affiliated.
We are but a determined portion of mankind,
taking it
ONE STEP, ONE HAND, ONE DAY
at a time
to accomplish the task before us.
Thank you for visiting the site.
