They aren't about to kick the habit either, as "She's So Clean" is very much along these lines. The verse is an ambient "Harvest for The World" with eerie guitars and subdued percussion, but the main bulk of the song is a bouncy jelly of energy, along the lines of T-Rex crossed with Headswim and Coldplay, with big melodies and guitars that could pull fish out of water. There's even time for an interesting violin verses guitar solo, which adds a hint of country, but not too much! Psychemodo have clearly put a whole lot of effort into this song and they're currently in the process of recording a video to accompany the track. What's strange about all this cost and effort is that they're giving up the song rights to the charity that inspired them to write the song, WaterAid!
