Adrian the Jeweller.See some more Jewellery in my online shopWorked in the Jewellery trade since leaving school I've just opened my first online shop Gold Plectrums, like the one above, can be hand made to order.
I can also make batches of silver guitar pick-pendants featuring your band’s logo that you can sell to your fans to promote your band and make some money.
If you want to know more leave me your email address and I’ll send you all the details.
Satin finished silver plectrum-pendant with a logo, polished finish also available.I set up my own workshop a couple of years ago and opened my own showroom in the picturesque Sussex town of Arundel. Please visit adrianashley.com. I now specialise in making one off pieces of fine jewellery for people that want something a bit out of the ordinary. I also hand make wedding and engagement rings for discerning couples. I now have my own range of jewellery using ethically mined diamonds. Things are going quite well, I’ve won a couple of national awards recently.
My 1st Ready-to-wear collection of jewellery. Better Deal Diamonds.
Click here to see the collection.
In the last decade the diamond industry has taken major steps to end the trade in the ‘Conflict’ or ‘Blood’ diamonds once used to fund civil wars in Africa. In many parts of the world however Diamond miners still live and work in conditions most of us in the U.K. would find intolerable. In this collection of diamond jewellery I’m only using stones from licensed mines in the Democratic Republic of Congo that aim to help the miners and their families gain long term benefits from their hard work. A percentage of the profits from the diamond sales are reinvested to improve working conditions at the mines and fund community development initiatives, bringing a small amount of prosperity to one of Africa’s most deprived areas. In keeping with its ethical values the collection of jewellery is being cast in Birmingham’s historic jewellery Quarter where gold has been refined and reworked for hundreds of years. This insures as little new gold as possible has been mined to make the pieces and helps to protect the Jewellery Quarter’s own traditional way of life. Each piece of jewellery comes with its own wooden gift box.
The Better Deal Diamonds range of jewellery is available from my new online shop. Please visit adrianashley.com.
If you like you can see some more dragons that I’ve made in my online shop
I would be happy to send pieces to most countries. The exchange rate is currently around two USD per GBP so a £45 dragon would cost $90 with £6 ($12) shipping costs. If you live in the Euro zone these dragons are now less than €60 each!!!! If you follow the link to my online shop you can order one on line, pay in GBP with your credit card via PayPal and they will do the currency exchange for you.

My Interests

Running a business takes up most of my time, I guess I’m lucky to be able to make a living from my hobby. Me and Akoya the dog enjoying a rare 15 minutes of fame.

I'd like to meet:

I’d like to hear from anyone who collects or is interested in Fine Jewellery. If any one’s getting engaged or married and wants to have their rings hand made I’d also like to hear from them. I’d also be interested in hearing from other people starting their own businesses and any tips, advice or warnings they may have.

Music:

Musically I’m pretty open minded. I quite like hearing buskers; I guess I miss living near London.

Movies:

Beauty and the Beast....... or Pauline and Adrian as we are known to our friends.
