Scott Chen is from China. He became a Christian in China in the middle of 1990s. In 1995, he came to the United States for graduate study. He has taken graduate programs in art administration and philosophy. Then he entered the seminary to study and got a Master of Divinity degree. Scott Chen's music is mostly the contemporary love songs and gospel songs. His music styles are the combination of oriental and western contemporary music, especially with the romantic oriental taste .
