Books (yeah, obvious), movies, genre television, and sleep. (Guess which one I don't get enough of.)
Takeshi Kovacs ... Never @#$% With an Envoy.
Okay, real people I haven't already met:
Michael Crichton, David Milch, Gale Anne Hurd, Philip Pullman ... all geniuses.
Bettie Page, Tricia Helfer (Six!), Traylor Howard (Monk), and Naomi Watts ... well, I am a guy, geez.
Patrick's "Whining Celtic Chicks." Don't bitch at me, that's what my staff call them.
Just about everything, but I am, of course, partial to the genre ones.
Sure. Deadwood (CS), Entourage, Rome, Stargate SG-1 (SciFi Channel canceling bastards) and Atlantis, Battlestar Galactica (Six!), Monk, Psych, CSI, 24, Lost, Eureka, Veronica Mars, Penn & Teller's Bullshit, Big Love, Sopranos, Coupling, Heroes, assorted History Channel shows ... and a bunch of shows the networks canceled.
And high hopes for ... The Dresden Files
Science fiction, fantasy, mystery, horror ... stop me when this sounds familiar ...
Anyone who does what needs to be done ... who goes out of their way to help another ... who sacrifices for others, or because it's right.
An example: Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain ... if you don't know who he is, Google him or you can't be my friend.
I'll take Obscure Civil War Heroes for $2000, Alex.
