Theodore Roosevelt

I was born on October 27,1858 in New York City. Graduated from Harvard in 1880 and became a New York Assemblyman in 1881. I enlisted in the army in 1898 to fight in the Spanish-American War. I was promoted to the rank of Colonel and given command of the First U.S. Volunteer Cavalry Regiment..better known as the Rough Riders. 82 years after my death (2001), I was awarded the Medal of Honor for my actions in the war. Upon returning to the states that year (1898), I was elected governor of New York. In 1900 I was elected Vice President under President William McKinley. President McKinley was assasinated in 1901 and I became the 26th President of the United States. I remained in office until 1909. I ran for President again in 1916 as a member of the progressive party which we called the "Bull Moose" party. To my shock, I lost to that sissy Woodrow Wilson. Due to Wilson's inept handling of the First World War, I was a shoe in for the Republican nomination in the 1920 election. Unfortunately, I died on January 16, 1919.
