About Me


glare-n-dazzle is a boutique label with equal interests in fashion, art and music.

It all started from doing press for both the London Fashion Bus and the launch of Disorder Magazine at London Fashion Week 2004. For a short while glare-n-dazzle was a ladies fashion boutique on Brick Lane that we never quite got around to taking on proper, and a monthly free art-rock-rave we used to host at the Spread Eagle in Shoreditch on Saturday nights. We had all sorts of performances going on there from Chicks On Speed, Silverlink, Max Tundra, Hotel Motel, Anat Ban David, Senor Mick, DJ Plastic Bag, Rosie/Nancy Nymph, Will Hunt, Darran Leaf, Hilda the Dragking, and various members of Adaadat and Le Couteau Jaune helping out.

That was a couple of years back and since then we have worked behind the scenes managing a variety of art and music projects. We released the first record on our label December 2006 which was by the band Trash Fashion. We have further releases planned for both Trash Fashion and other artists for 2007. Other than that we are working hard performing on the live art circuit as well as building a portfolio of jewellery designs for a forthcoming project. We have also just started work curating a series of new media art shows that will tour throughout 2007, as well as being involved in the Our History touring exhibition about the rave scene (see our blog for more on that). All this is filling up our time nicely.
