The issue of climate change is something we must all take seriously. There is very little room for doubt or compromise and the way forward is PEOPLE POWER! Our elected leaders are busy with their warfare, even given the rhetoric about 'going green'. Here's a short list of things that are easy to start doing:

Change power supplier - renewable sources is what more people should be supporting. Check out www.ecotricity.co.uk Switch bank - the Cooperative bank is the only bank with an ethical and ecological thinking. Stop giving your money to banks that fuel big business, arms trade and have dodgy human rights records. Check www.co-operativebank.co.uk Get lo-energy lightbulbs - will cost you a few pounds but it's much better in the long run. Recycle as much as you can. Turn all your electric appliances OFF, not standby. Get a solar charger, check out www.solio.com Buy food as locally as you can. Avoid stuff from far far away as they rack up foodmiles. Better to get a bottle of vino from France than New Zealand. Go organic! Get on your bike and become a zero CO2 emissioner!
