" The Ed Banger sound (as it is generally known) has made as many enemies as friends, especially when played by amateur DJs who don't bother learning to mix. Look to NYC's Denny Le Nimh to redeem your faith in gigantic, distorted basslines and handclaps; not only do his roots in dance music go back to his rave days in Phoenix, AZ, his mixing skills have been feted in the Village Voice and elsewhere for his weekly Ruff Club parties. If you're tired of that sound, check him out before you write it off. And if you're already a registered nu-raver, hold out for his doing serious damage to Klaxons, Switch and Digitalism. "
