Welcome to a humble, relatively new and generally overlooked genre of noise. Anomalous, the homo-solus ambient space-rock project is nothing within range of being among today’s conformist vibes, but rather takes on a wild and majestic contrast to the faded gray streets of mainstream life in its own starlit consorting way.
Ambient music is an auditory dreamscape; a world that can change from mind to mind, the strings remaining open. Rock music is rather straightforward, presenting the idea and describing it poetically. Ambient Rock is both and neither, so make of it what you will. There are no vocal lyrics to the songs, rather the moods and ideas are expressed within the layers of the music itself, and left open for a million different minds to interpret and mock at in their own ways.
Solo artist irfan azam plays on guitar, keyboards, and percussions. The music is played completely spontaneous… nothing is ever written or planned out; the tunes may be off, the rhythms often don’t match, the beat is often inconsistent, "and the stars look down..."
