eleventhfloorrecords was founded in the very warm early autumn in the year 2000 in an appartment on the eleventh floor of a brickstone block in the southern swedish town Malmö.
After numerous nights and early mornings emptying bottles of wine and whiskey, partying, bowling, playing darts, visiting finnish metal concerts, lying and cheating, bathing in fountains and then finally return home to fight with programs and instruments, a production started to appear.
The weeks and months passed. Autumns turned into winters and winters turned into springs and then swiftly back to winters to finally reach the summers and it was soon time for the creations to see the daylight.
In summer 2002 www.eleventhfloorrecords.com was launched on to the web and made it possible for anyone curious to download the mp3's for free. (this page is not functioning anylonger, but we're keeping our myspace pages with fresh material instead)
"11th" is a project that does not aim for band identity or genre belonging, but more like a free production of varied outcome. Unfortunately the 11th project has had (like everything in life) its ups and downs and has been suffering from the lack of time and inspiration.
Since autumn 2005 the project is split into two separate "studios"; one located on the 7th floor and the other on the 4th summing up 11 and finally production seems to be on its uprise again.
...but since autumn/winter 2007 we can't reach up to eleven floors anymore after both moving to new flats located much lower... too bad ; ) ...the production will hopefully keep going strong though...

!!!2007-11-07 We have just agreed to start collaborating with Scott Worley (the man behind Jatun and Biltmore Dive) with polishing up our tracks and remixing them. Scott is becoming like a third member of the eleventhfloorrecords. Hopefully this collab will end up in a nice package as a cd release later on in 2008 or so.
