Being 51 years old now,I think I am in the middle of my "book"!....The first one was quite a roller coaster one,I had to learn how to support myself at 15 or so years old, result from a difficult and painful childwood, yes some people are lucky and some other are not.....Anyway,being in the streets have taught me some things, then at about 17 years old or so,I went to Paris where I lived for 21 years. My half brother helped me to get established,I've done numerous different type of jobs and did some travelling hich-hicking through Europe and even to Morrocco.I also was crazy about motorcycles and speed and as a result paid the "price" by breaking one leg being involved in an accident. Then I decided to go to school to learn woodworking wich I did for a few years at the meantime I got involved in a relationship with a woman whom I got 2 kids with......Meanwhile I was into karate wich I practiced for 5 years, then I got very passionate about music and I had to quit karate, not enough time for both!Being a young father, working, the pace from a big city like Paris,I had to make a choice!....Then from woodworking,I swichted to jobs that required driving skills,so I was a messenger, delivery man,car racer for pictures for some auto magazines and even personal chauffeur and bodyguard for a Princess!!......Music was very presnt in my life also, going to rock concerts in Europe and collecting records, going to London hunting for rare vinyl records from flea markets(read music section). Not that I want to brag about it,but my thirties were filled with numerous relationships with women, some of them very passionate......Now, I have lived in the U.S for 15 years and I am very happy to be here and despite all the critisisms we can hear around us,I think firmly that the U.S is a great country in a lot of ways!!.....Having just finished an awsome project that I'm gonna promote,I am in very good "spirit"...... Music:

long chapter!Yes,I've been involved with music for a very long time,at 13 years old,I used to listen my sisters's records, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones,Led Zeppelin etc..... at the meatime I "borrowed" my cheap sister's guitar,of course I didn't know how to play it,I just tuned the guitar by twisting the knobs the wrong way,and broke the neck!!!As a result I got a good trashing by my father!..... I got very interested in learning how to play when I was in Paris,I started to collect vinyl records with the help of a good friend of mine,at the meantime I was taking fingerpicking guitar lessons, because I got a strong love for Rockabilly and Blues music.....This lead me to the U.S in order to get a good grasp on this music. So far,I've had 3 bands in Austin, the first one,the Biscuit Rollers acoustic blues music,we lasted for 3-4 years with different line up,I also recorded and produced my first c.d wich got some good response from national and international radios stations.then I decided to learn how to read music wich I did with dedication for 3 years, this allowed me to put a little jazz combo named Round' Midnight, gigs in town and private events,we lasted about 2 years. Then,I came back to my first love and put another band together named the Cognac's wich was Rockin' Blues style,I still have some good demos from this one.Now i have been playing with a guy named Orange Jefferson,he's a very good black singer and plays the harp,we recorded 3 tunes on a compilation named "texas harmonica rumble"originally made for the japanese market, some big blues names are on this compilation as well....I really wish to play more this year.....I'd also like to get involved in the soundtrack industry, any ideas?

Movies:

Cinema, what a great art form!So many masterpieces have been made since its birth!I've seen so many films when I was living in Paris!......Here are some of my favorites,of course I'm able to name just a few of them,so many,so many folks!!.. Goodfellas(Martin Scorsese) Freaks(Todd Browning) M.le Maudit(Fritz Lang) Braveheart(Mel Gibson) Run Lola Run(Tom Tykwer) The Pathfinder(Nils Gaup) The music of chance(Philip Haas) Nikita(Luc Besson) I quit!!Too many to name,it makes me crazy!just ask me!....

Television:

I got the cable for the world cup soccer, wich I enjoyed, but now I'd like to get rid of it,too many depressing news!!And I hate commercials!I have to go back where I was before wich means using my screen only to watch movies with my d.v.d player!Kill your t.v before it kills you!....

Books:

I usually enjoy history,biographies,but it's been a while since I didn't read a book......Maybe because I don't carry my reading glasses with me!.....Is it a good excuse!?

Heroes:

I definitly have one at least, actually he's more like a guru to me,one man blues band, his name is Dr.Isaah Ross..... Keith Richards from the Rolling Stones for his dedication, his talent, his "aura" as a Prince and Gipsy. And Scotty Moore who is the reason why I wanted to learn how to fingerpick on a guitar.
