My Interests

I run a couple of clubs in London with my partner, Heavy Load Rob. Sin City Country Rock Club on the 2nd Saturday of the month and Heavy Load on the last Saturday of the month. Both at the Phoenix, London W1, also our occasional Southern Rock night "Southbound". Come on down and say howdy - now you know what I look like! www.thesincityclub.com www.theheavyloadclub.com www.myspace.com/southboundclub

I'd like to meet:

Only people who like Waylon Jennings, the Marshall Tucker Band and other great music. Sorry but if you send a friend request without a message I probably won't look at your page unless I really like your photo. I've met some really nice people here on Myspace and want to keep it that way, I'm not interested in adding Hip-Hop or Garage bands/clubs or other unrelated stuff.

Music:

I like both types: "Country and Rock". Some of my favourites at the moment are the Marshall Tucker Band, Hank Williams Jr, Elvin Bishop, Poco, Pure Prairie League, Rusty Wier, Jonathan Edwards, Cowboy, Free Beer, Allman Brothers, Charlie Daniels, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Gary Stewart, Doobie Brothers, Delaney and Bonnie, Eric Clapton and of course lets not forget the Black Crowes

Movies:

I have to admit the last film I watched was "Brokeback Mountain" when I was on an aeroplane going from London to Los Angeles and I thoroughly enjoyed it.... okay please don't delete me from your friends! Here's a video clip of Waylon Jennings from 1980 "Live At Mr Lucky's" Thanks to Waymore for this one. Waylon Jennings Live At Mr. Lucky's 1980

Television:

Yes I have a TV but don't watch many programmes. Prefer to watch music videos, The Eagles from 1972, Rocky Mountain Opry (featuring Hank Jr and Emmylou amongst others), Clarence White Guitar Workshop (with the annoying host Bob Baxter), Earl Scruggs and Doc Watson (on rotation)...them boys are mighty fine pickers! Oh yes, and most currently (thanks to Matt and Aurelie again) Emmylou Harris and the Hot Band from 1977 (what a line up!) Looking forward to watching the Marshall Tucker Band "Carolina Dreams" DVD from 1977 when it arrives.

Books:

Last book I read was called "The South at War" yeah really cheerful!

Heroes:

Emmylou Harris, not just for her music but for her looks, style and super cool outfits (hippy dresses and plenty of tassles). My boyfriend says its a shame I can't sing like her as we could make good money.
