About Me

SHOW OFF 5 This Saturday May the 31st! Woooha. Secret location in east london to be announced on friday the 30th. You must be on the list to gain entry. RSVP to [email protected] is a brief run through of stuff:Dear ShowOffs,Show Off gives the exhibitionist in us all a stage to dance on, a spotlight to bask in and a megaphone to scream through! We wanna have a good time, we wanna have a party, and we wanna rock to some new music! We also want to be blown away by some top visual trickery! So if you think you’ve got what it takes to be the best of the best, if you’re established or not, all contributions are welcomeShowtime Our next night is penciled for the 31st May. We have a location but its top secret at the moment, ooooh! We’re looking forward to it, especially following as it's a return to the old formula that the first Show Off night used which was held at the unique Passing Clouds Works, www.myspace.com/passingclouds. What was true then is still true now, we want to keep it interesting, so no plans for a regular monthly thing, Show Off nights will be held in a host of different venues, and at different times, we’ll just see how it goes and go with the flow...Show me If you have some amazing work and you want to see your name in bright lights, the brief is pretty simple... First, choose you’re most kick ass piece of work, there’s nothing stopping you submitting a couple, after all if you’re that good it would be rude not too, you’re public is waiting! Two, part of the deal is that you create a ShowOff sting that can be used in between your work and someone else’s. Take the ShowOff logo (we send email this to you, just get in touch pdf and do whatever you want... as long as its MEGA, we don’t careFormats Dimensions; 1024x576,Pixel aspect ratio; square, Frame rate; 25 fpsShow case We’ve been getting slighly addicted to myspace so before we sort out a proper website, what we’ll also do is upload the work -if that’s cool with you- onto our myspace page www.myspace.com/showoffclub along with your contact details etc and let the comments fly!Show boat This ain’t no competition, there isn’t a trophy at the end of the night, its a chance to get your work shown outside of the normal comfort zones and see how it goes down, plus you get to meet a load of like minded people, unless you’re really weird or something?!Showstopper So that’s it, there’s not much time, all submissions should be in by the end of February, 2007Show Up Don’t be a stranger! It would be tops if you can pop down on the night and obviosuly as a contributor you’ll be on the guest list. Remember ‘…the better you look, the more you see!’ haha
