About Me

Production of ISSUE 10 of Amelia's Magazine will commence in May and Amelia will need some interns to make the magic happen. She needs a MUSIC EDITOR and a FASHION EDITOR for 4-5 days a week for six months, starting from May.This would be a fantastic opportunity for you budding writers who are on the ball with the music and fashion scenes. You will cover all aspects of the magazine's music or fashion sections, both in the magazine and the online blog. You will attend gigs frequently, write reviews, go to fashion shows and shop openings, organise other writers, stylists and photographers, and liase with fashion and bands' PRs. The experience and contacts you would gain during your time here are invaluable in this difficult-to-get-into industry!To be considered for these positions you must meet the following requirements-• Own a Mac laptop• Be able to write• Be able to get yourself to London (Brick Lane) and work from 10am-6pm for 4 -5 days a week.• Be able to start in early May for six months production of the next issuebe outward going, responsible, enthusiastic and willing to get stuck into all aspects of working at a small magazine.* Have a huge interest in new music and fashion!Only email if you meet this criteria please, with examples of your work.If you are interested in becoming issue ten's Music or Fashion Editor let me know and we can organise a short interview. Issue 07 is available on the website, but don't panic if you haven't got a glow-in-the-dark copy, there may still be some hidden in magazine shops around the country.
