Alex Sedano
(born 1978 in Granada, Spain) is a graphic designer and typographer currently based in London, UK.
Sedano studied art and design at his hometown art school, at the same time that he was active in different experimental art groups and working as a DJ at very early age.
In 2000, he moved to Madrid to study cinema. Where his work was exhibited in various galleries and where he also performed experimental electronic music (laptop sets).
After 3 years working as a visual artist in some of the most notorious night clubs of the Spanish capital, he decided to move to London in 2003 and focus on graphic design.
Currently he's pursuing a BA Typo/graphic design degree at the University of the Arts London and was recently awarded with a distinction in his graphic design foundation course.
After 3 years living in East London,
where he was completely immersed in London's parties and clubbing culture,
Alex Sedano decided on March 2007 that was time to play his works again.
He joined M I M (Rogue Lovers dj's) to run their monthly venue together "People on Horses"
and from there, work as a Vj in several clubs and venues.
Leaving behind all the technical aspects of his previous video works,
this time he's back more polemic and controversial than ever!
Video games, homemade animations, snuff videos, retro icons, family-porn, sexy farm animals, Trisha and Jerry Springer's show, the mother queen stoned, mobile phones gif's files, paralympic games, sado maso granies, and practically anything you could find today in internet mashed with fluor colours, pixels and a very bizarre sense of humor.
