What you can do to help?
The volunteer opportunities available are as follows:
1. Transporting dogs from shelters or to and from vet appointments
2. Helping set up and working adoption days
3. Participating in fundraising activities or hosting a fundraising event
4. Doing home visits on potential adopters
5. Fostering a dog until it can be placed into a permanent home
Become a Foster:
Austin Boxer Rescue can only help dogs if people are willing to provide temporary fosters until permanent placement can be found. Fostering a dog is one of the most important things a volunteer can do and it can be life saving for many of our furry friends. It is a great way to familiarize yourself with the breed and provide a displaced animal a home when they need it most. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an Online Foster Form .

Just fill out this Adoption Form or go to the web site to meet all of the wonderful animals in our rescue. We service all of the Central Texas area from San Antonio to Dallas and have affiliate rescues in Houston.
You can also help by donating to a local shelter or rescue in your area. Many animals depend on the generosity and kindness of these volunteers to make their lives better. You can be a hero with the smallest donation, be it money, food, or just a little of your time to help out. Make the difference in a life.

We need people that are willing to help us by fostering a boxer in your home. Our goal is to take these dogs from shelters and into homes. We don't want them to spend anymore time in cages than they have already.
