Reading: Historical biography, art history, 19th Cen. Romantic Poetry, novels, comics, nonfiction on various esoterical matters--Faerie, Tarot, comparative mythology, etc.
Art: Embroidery, crochet, sketching, drawing, painting, making jewelry, sewing, inciting mayhem. I devotedly visit the Philadelphia Museum of Art at least twice a month.
Music: Seekng out new music, following interesting local bands when I can.
Tea: Earl Grey, spiced chai...actually, I've never met a tea I didn't like (except for Lapsang Souchong).
I used to be heavily into collecting Dolls, but not so much now. For the most part my collection consists of Pullip, Asian Ball-Joint dolls, Bratz, Bleeding Edge Goths, Blythe, whatever else happens to catch my eye.
Practicing the fine art of Discordianism.
Interesting people. Deceptively simple, no?
* I have recently developed an (what some might call unhealthy) obsession with baroque works for solo harpsichord. That's just about all I'm listening to these days. Favorite composers include Rameau, Couperin, Scarlatti, Jacquet de La Guerre, and of course Bach. I still love everyone listed below, I just haven't been giving them much (or any) attention lately.
Tori Amos, Hannah Fury, Faith and the Muse, Rasputina, Emilie Autumn, David Bowie, Happy Rhodes, Miranda Sex Garden, Bjork, Julia Othmer, Regina Spektor, Auf Der Maur, The Von Bondies, Queen, Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues, HIM, Phantom Of The Opera (most versions), Jane Eyre the musical, J.S. Bach, Poe, Sarah Brightman, Courtney Love, Hole, Dead Can Dance, King Crimson, Sarah Fimm, Trace Fury, Stevie Nicks, Wanda Landowska...dammit, this is going to take forever. Put it this way--I own several hundred CDs. I'm willing to give just about anything a chance, though my tastes tend toward female vocals and punk/rock/prog/goth/glam/ethereal/darkwave--and anything with CELLO and HARPSICHORD!. Usually if it's LOUD and the musicians are competent I'm happy.
