My interests are many and varied and include Reading (see books below for more on that!), Writing, History(it is my major after all...lol), Yoga, Meditation/Bio-Feedback, Crafting of all kinds - i.e. sculpting, jewelry making, doll making(and restoring) sewing and knitting(I'm just learning how to!), having all kinds of discussions(from serious to silly), I'm a bit(!) of a Trek lover( DS9 rules!),I adore MOTU(She-Ra especially!), I adore Road Trips and Tacky Tourist Traps, and so many other things that I don't think I could even begin to list them all...so please ask for more :)

I like all kinds of music and I'll listen to just about any style. A few of my personal favorites (among others) include No Doubt/Gwen Stefani, Michael Buble, Norah Jones, Steps, Green Day, Enya, Natasha Bedingfield, Emmy Rossum, The Pipettes - as well as Instrumentals, Classical, Celtic, Broadway/Musicals, etc. Hey, look - it's Blythe! A few of my favorite movies are Phantom of the Opera, The Original Star Wars Trilogy, Funny Girl, Gypsy, Thoroughly Modern Milly, Singing in The Rain, The Last Unicorn, Sin City, Rent, Pirates of the Caribbean, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Cabaret, Mommy Dearest, and Anything by Mel Brooks. I also adore Pride and Prejudice, Charles Dickens' Bleak House, Casanova, Elizabeth, Cranford and several other movies/miniseries made for Masterpiece Theater and other such high quality Television Networks. ;)
My all time favorite shows are Star Trek:Deep Space Nine (DS9) and She-Ra, followed closely by ST:TNG, The Soup, Top Chef, Unwrapped, In Search Of, Cities of the Underworld, History's Mysteries, Project Runway (Tim Gunn Rules!), Futurama, and The X-Files. I also enjoy watching The Simpsons and various cartoons like Angry Beavers, Rocko's Modern Life, Animaniacs, The Critic and Ren & Stimpy - just to name a few! I also watch all kinds of documentaries (especially paranormal and history ones) and other such programing. ;)
I am a devourer of books (of any written word actually...lol!) and with a personal library of 600+ books (and counting!) I have way too many favorites to list! To pick a very few I'd say Forever Amber, Memoirs of a Geisha, Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, The Autobiography of Henry VIII, the Josephine Bonaparte Trilogy by Sandra Gulland, and just about any of my Faery Books - especially my Faery and Gnome Pop-Up Books (they have been favorites since almost before I can remember!).
Favorite authors include (but are so not limited to, tee-hee!) - Jane Austen, David Starkey, Charlotte Brontë, Sandra Gulland, Margaret George, Kathleen Winsor, Alison Weir, Eleanor Herman, Robin Maxwell, David Koenig, Diane Haeger, Shel Silverstein, Dr. Suess, Andrea Stuart, Brian Froud, The Brother's Grimm, and so forth.:)

My hero is She-Ra - she's strong, confidant, is trying to bring peace to her adopted world, is He-Man's twin sister, has a Sword of Power and a horse/side kick that talks and flies - what could be greater than that!?! ;)
