I 've been making comics professionally since I was seventeen. My comic-format entry was chose out of thousands of other entries as a finalist in the Seventeen sponsored 2003 CHANEL "Colour of the Year" Contest. Just as I turned nineteen, I self-published my first graphic novel, 18 Revolutions , which retains cult following in some high schools.

I make a living making webcomics about snarky girls and cats for gURL.com . Recently I won the 2007 Friends of Lulu Kim Yale Award for Best New Female Talent. I also self-publish many of my comics which I sell online at my shop and at conventions.

Otherwise I'm just your typical self-starting nerd :) I love My Little Ponies and anything that comes with an instruction manual. My preferred mode of transportation: motorcycle.

Here is where I keep all my tasty comics:

Love my comics? Spread the word!
Copy and paste the following code into your MySpace and/or site to help spread the love:

I also run Manga Punk, a haphazard news and reviews site for my generation of aspiring comickers.

My Interests

The pyramids of Egypt, crop circle formations, girls' comics (clarification: not shoujo manga), ornithology, my little ponies, and anything that comes with a manual.

I'd like to meet:

Stephen Hawking and Trent Reznor. (Preferably both of them in a jacuzzi.)

New Friending Policy Regarding Males and Bands

Males and bands should private message me along with their friend requests. If they don't, I'll know that they didn't actually bother to read my profile, and their requests will be deleted. Girls get off free because most of them read my comics, and I am just nicer to girls.

Music:

New Wave and Industrial all the way. I *heart* synth.

Movies:

What the Bleep Do We Know?, Kevin Smith films

Television:

Stargate SG1, Robot Chicken, The Venture Brothers

Books:

The Elegant Universe, Harry Potter, manuals

Heroes:

Stephen Hawking, Trent Reznor
