"With Patricia's passionate voice and Megan's superbly crafted violin, "Patricia Wake" are an act worth spending time with..." -

Martin Bowes of Attrition

"Patricia's vocals shine through her music like ultraviolet light cascading through temple windows. This is very original work and the best thing going in the Pittsburgh goth scene." -

Jim Semonik, a.k.a DJ Hiem, of REIN[FORCED], Distortion Productions

Welcome to the solo project of Patricia Wake.

Never mind me. Tell me about yourself. Are you an adventurous spirit? Are you unafraid of uncharted territory? Will you walk boldly into the caves and the deep forests? Dive to the depths of the ocean? Can you look into the darkest corners of the human heart? Most importantly, can you laugh at despair? Not in mockery, but with the understanding that we humans create so much of our own misery, and in delight that this understanding means that there is hope.

If so, then I invite you to join my travels. There is no destination, only exploration. We will wander every continent, sail every sea, and travel in time - past, present, future. As we go, we will learn the music of human history, and I will chronicle our adventures in song. Be ready to sing. Be ready to cry. Be ready to laugh. Be ready to dress for the occasion. Do you have your knapsack? I'll consult the compass. This way. Let's go!

The previous adventures of Patricia Wake:

From 2002 until recently I was the vocalist for Between The Waters

BTW's album, Connection

Before that I played in a few short-lived Celtic bands, did a backup vocal track for a cover of "When Doves Cry" for Mindless Faith , participated in several one-off Glam Rock and New Wave tribute shows, and hid in my apartment writing a lot of songs and recording them on a boombox.

Before that I was in a blues and r&b band doing all the favorite standards.

Before that, I was growing up in Dallas, Texas (and yes, I left all the years out of all that on purpose).

If you'd like to know more about me, please visit my personal profile (down there in the top friends. Yes, I love myself! But in a totally non-egomaniacal way).
The background photo was taken by my dearest friend Mirvana.

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
