About Me

A documentary about the Troll 2 cult phenomenon is in the works. Here is a teaser trailer. It best sums up what is happening with my life these days:
A great article at Bloody Good Horror about the New York Troll 2 screening.
AMC's Monsterfest people did a very nice video piece. Scroll down a bit and look for Best Worst Movie to view.
Read an article about the BOSTON TROLL 2 screening at The Brattle Theater.
Read a recent article about the Troll 2 phenomenon with a sidebar written by yours truly!

I played Arnold (OH MY GAAAAAAWWWD) in the best worst movie ever made - Troll 2. Am I proud? You betcha!
I get ink done, bitch!...

A plug from the Salt Lake Tribune.

Hello, I'm Darren Ewing !
My greatest claim to fame, so far, is my participation in the smash cult classic Troll 2 , which has taken on a life of its own with fans of horror and cheesy cinema around the world. Some have called it the original Internet cult movie phenomenon .
I got back into film and television acting recently (See my pics and video ), and I’ve enjoyed some success. I was in the season finale of Everwood (though the whole scene got cut!) and I’ve been in some other films including: Return to Halloweentown (Disney), Unaccompanied Minors (Warner Bros. - Directed by Freaks and Geeks creator Paul Feig.) and Brothers Three: An American Gothic There have been a few television ads. I've also been doing cartoon voice over work.
I’m an improvisational comedian and a musician as well (drums – 29 years / vocals/ rhythm guitar.) I've recorded 3 albums, I write lyrics and arrange music, and I sit in with a number of bands and musicians.
but my main gig is drumming for my band Skinny Bob and the Blues Dogs.
I do a video blog segment for sltrib.com. Here is a clip...
